Winceby House School was founded in 1915 by two sisters, Miss Angela Wilson and Miss Winifred Wilson (known to all as ‘Madam’). Graham Britnell Green, whose wife attended Winceby, draws on school magazines, photographs and recollections of old girls to illustrate the book. Winceby closed in 1966, but Graham has created a permanent record of a unique piece of educational and social history.
