Owned by Frank Elliott and George Turner, Grocers, Drapers and Outfitters in the 1880s, this was one of three general stores in the street in the 1930s. It was later owned by another Turner family and is still trading today (as Turner’s or ‘The Corner Shop’), managed by Mr and Mrs Shah.
