Corporate Histories

A growing number of organisations wish to record their histories. These include companies, charities, schools and clubs. Writing the history of your organisation can be a way of marking an anniversary or of thanking staff and customers for their loyalty.

You may wish to publish the history of a charity for fundraising purposes or perhaps your town's Local History Society is interested in producing a book as a community project.

Books may be produced for internal circulation or for general sale.

Choose a person in your organisation to be in charge of the project. He or she will be the Editor and should have access to any material you wish to include in the book.

Costs

The printing costs of a corporate history are no different from those of an individual life story. We use the same printing technology and often the same printers. Remember, the longer the print run, the lower the unit cost of each copy of the book.

You may find our overall editorial charge is slightly more expensive than an individual life story as it can take us longer to collect, write and edit the material. The more research and editing you do yourself, the lower your cost will be. We always try to keep our charges as low as possible and make sure you are informed at every stage.
